lens technology and time lapse video recorders; it

support for the Mobotix IP based CCTV range of security
cameras which overcomes these hurdles. With solid
state technology and digital lens configurations there
are no moving parts to fail. Also in conjunction with
power over Ethernet technology, a simple cat5e link
is all that is required to power the unit.

can choose from single lens configurations, to night
vision, fisheye and macro lens etc.
The Mobotix CCTV security solution
really is a system that can be used by anybody. With
no bespoke software to install and manage, everything
is out of the box. The configuration and usage is
handled through a web browser so you can operate the
system with any desktop pc or even a handheld PDA
if you are on the move.
Due to the nature of the product
it can also be viewed and operated over an internet
link at remote locations. This provides a wealth of
opportunities, for example if you had the system installed
at work, should an alarm alert occur you would have
the opportunity to check the live CCTV images straight
away.
