Pride Park-based Orchid, which was recently crowned ‘Business of the Year’ at the 2009 Business Awards Derbyshire, has been awarded Preferred Partner status by HP in recognition of the company’s continued commitment to a strategic relationship with HP.

To gain this highly sought after award, which showcases the top tier of IT resellers, Orchid was required to achieve a strict level of criteria, including reaching high training standards and levels of revenue generation.

Orchid is one of just 139 IT resellers in the UK to have achieved this elite status, allowing exclusive access to regular to pre-released HP information, empowering Orchid to offer its customers unprecedented access to the newest HP technologies.
