Orchid IT wins Nottingham BID retail tender - 12/5/2010

Orchid IT have won the tender to supply the recently formed Nottingham BID (Business Improvement District) Retail Group with an IT infrastructure as well as corresponding services and support.

The BID Retail Group which will be based out of offices in Nottingham City Centre, is a coup for Orchid IT having recently gained presence in the Nottingham by the opening of an office at Trent Bridge.

Managing Director, Brett Critchley said “Winning the BID contract is testament to our focus on Nottingham as the opening of our offices at Trent Bridge can testify too. Over time the BID movement is likely to grow as more and more Nottingham City based companies get behind and support the scheme.”

The solution implemented revolved around the supply of IT office equipment and the delivery of a cloud computing based email application as well as Orchid IT’s proactive service desk offering.
