Orchid IT raise money for the Lewis Mighty Fund - 29/6/2010

On the evening of Sunday 20th June, Orchid IT held a special World Cup party in aid of the Lewis Mighty Fund in order to raise money so that Lewis can receive treatment for his rare form of cancer.

The event held at the Bishops Blaise bar on Friargate in Derby, featured 5 times World Cup winners Brazil taking on African team the Ivory Coast and was attended by Orchid staff, customers and family and friends of Lewis.

Many prizes were donated by local businesses for a raffle prize draw with all proceeds going to the fund.

The total raised from the party and other related events was £1,630.24.

James Twigg, Orchid Financial Director said "We are delighted to be supporting such a worthwhile cause and would like to actively encourage other businesses to do the same."
