Orchid was originally set up as a supplier to resellers. What made us different for other distributors was not just price but the service we offered around the products we sold. Resellers rely on quick pricing, accurate information and a quick turnaround of product. What has been, and in most circumstances still is of most importance is the quality of information regarding the technology purchased. Often resellers will need advice and guidance on the best solutions to offer their customers and with the wealth of technical knowledge that Orchid have we are able to do this. There has always been a concern in regards to customer loyalty and confidentiality when dealing with both end users and resellers, but nearly all distributors have some form of direct model. Orchid have proven our reseller loyalty by still dealing with the same reseller customers since the day we started. Because of our end user skills not only do we deal with the reseller but often help them provide the solution to the end user. Below are a few examples of the resellers we deal with. Sanderson Sanderson develops and delivers software solutions and IT services. Orchid have dealt with Sanderson since the day the company started. We supply them with all of their Hewlett Packard equipment and often configure the servers prior to shipment. We also supply a vast array of products to Sanderson acting as their one-stop product provider, the main ones being Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, Sophos, IBM and SCO, most products requiring a speedy next day delivery.
Bond International Software Bond International Software pioneers the development and provision of staffing software, support and consultancy services to the staffing and recruitment industries. We have been a supplier of theirs since Orchid formed in 1996. We supply bond with all of their Hewlett Packard hardware, Sophos, Microsoft, Veritas, SCO and many more products. Bond require fast, accurate information with meaningful delivery times as their quality of service to their customers is only as good as what we provide to them.
DataPro Software DataPro Software develops and supplies a small range of specialist software to discerning customers throughout Europe, the Middle East, the Far East and Africa. DataPro have used Orchid since we formed in 1996. We supply them with Hewlett Packard, SCO and Microsoft solutions. DataPro use Orchid because of the level of service we provide and quite simply they can trust us.
